مام مدينة خيتاريا، على ساحل غيبوسكوا، يرتفع Ratón de Getaria المعروف رسمياً باسم كابو سان أنطون، وهو نتوء صخري يشبه فأراً نائماً مقابل البحر.

تحكي التقاليد أن ماري —إلهة الطبيعة الباسكية— كانت في العصور القديمة تعبر السماء بين الجبال والبحار، جالبة المطر، الشمس أو العواصف حسب إرادتها.

ويقال إنه في إحدى رحلاتها، أرادت أن تهدي الصيادين في خيتاريا حامياً من غضب المحيط. نزلت على المياه، وبلمسة واحدة من يدها حولت موجة عملاقة إلى صخر، منحته شكل فأر ليكون بارزاً ومميزاً من الأفق.

وهكذا وُلد Ratón de Getaria: منارة طبيعية، حارس للصيادين، ورمز أبدي للوحدة بين الأرض والبحر.
