What Is “Cotton in Conversion”? AUNTI’s Commitment to Supporting Farmers

At AUNTI, most of our garments are made from certified organic cotton, grown with care for people and the planet. But we also believe in supporting those who are still on their way toward full sustainability.

That’s why we include, on a small scale, some pieces made with cotton in conversion — a fabric grown by farmers who are transitioning their fields from conventional to organic farming. 🌿

This conversion period usually takes about three years, during which the soil is restored and all synthetic chemicals are eliminated. Although this cotton isn’t fully certified organic yet, it’s cultivated under the same eco-friendly and responsible principles.

By choosing garments that contain cotton in conversion, you help AUNTI support farmers in their sustainable journey, making it possible for them to continue improving their practices while ensuring fair and viable production.

At AUNTI, we believe that sustainability is a shared path — and every small step helps shape a better future. 💚
